Dana Murray



Having completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto Mississauga with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Classical Civilizations, Dana later pursued an MA in Religion and Public Life at Carleton University. Currently undertaking an additional Masters degree in Museum Studies, Dana's earlier graduate research focused on the ancient synagogue, titled: "Architecture, Art and Identity: The Ancient Synagogue as a Medium for Self-Ascription." A Graduate Research Associate of the Max and Tessie Zelikovitz Centre for Jewish Studies, her current research interests include the art, architecture, mythology and/or religion of ancient Greece and the Near East.

She has two seasons of archaeological field experience working on the ancient site of Argilos in northern Greece where she has developed an interest in conservation techniques.
