The Princes in the Tower by John Everett Millais (1829-1896 CE). The princes were Edward V of England (r. Apr-Jun 1483 CE) and his younger brother Richard who were kept in the Tower of London and most likely murdered by their uncle Richard III of England (r. 1483-1485 CE). (Royal Holloway Collection)
