Magoksa Temple in Taehwasan Mountain is famous for its beautiful autumnal landscape of colourful foliage. The temple is said to have been built during the Silla Period and is characteristic of the traditional Korean aesthetic sensibility that favours harmony with the natural environment. Notably, the temple buildings and stone pagodas form a splendid vista along with the natural beauty of Taehwasan Mountain.
