Zorats Karer Archaeological Site

Zorats Karer is a prehistoric site located about 3 km (2 miles) northeast of Sissian, Armenia and covers an area of about 13.5 ha (32 acres). Middle Bronze Age artifacts including bronze swords, fragments of beads made from antimony, and potsherds have been unearthed and traced to the first quarter of the 2nd millennium BCE.
