This is a strand of a gold Etruscan necklace dating back to between 800 and 500 BCE. The last Etruscan cities officially entered the Roman Empire circa 100 BCE. This necklace was found in Italy, and it is currently on display at the Field Museum in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
