This limestone fragment depicts part of delicate raised relief. It shows the head and shoulders of a male figure. The man has a small beard, looks to the right side, and holds a bunch of lotus flowers in his left hand. The right hand holds a stick which passes over his right shoulder. A woman stands behind him and puts her hand over his left shoulder. At the right edge, we can recognize slight traces of a column of hieroglyphs with h-cord below tail (?) of a bird sign. From Lahun (Fayum Governorate), Egypt. Late Period, 672-332 BCE. The Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology, London (with thanks to The Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology, UCL).
