Piesport Roman Wine Press — A reconstructed Roman wine press dated to the 4th century CE is located on the edge of the famous slopes of the Piesporter Goldtröpfchen vineyard in Piesport, Germany. The structure, measuring 44 metres (144 ft) in length and 20 metres (65 ft) in width, was discovered in 1985 CE and authentically reconstructed. In 1991 CE, a second wine press was found next to it, this one measuring 15 metres (49 ft) in length and five metres (16 ft) in width and containing four basins built in the 2nd century CE.
