Mongolian Yurt

A clay model of a yurt or Mongolian tent with a green leaf glaze. Made in China during the Yuan Dynasty (1260 – 1368 CE).

Fine, cream-colored clay with leaf green glaze. h. 21.0 cm., diam. 27.0 cm. (8 1/4 x 10 5/8 in.) From the Princeton University Art Museum in New Jersey, USA. Gift of J. Lionberger Davis, Class of 1900.
