Hellenistic Tower at Eleutherna, Crete

The remains of a Hellenistic defensive tower standing atop Pyrgi hill in the ancient city of Eleutherna on Crete. The tower was used from the Hellenistic until the Byzantine period (4th century BCE to 7th centuries CE).
