Tashichho Dzong - Thimphu Bhutan — One of the many fortresses or dzongs in Bhutan that were used by the army to protect the population. Dzongs also served as administrative centres and as houses for the clergy. This photo shows Tashichho Dzong built in the 13th Century CE.
