Jonkoping on December i8, 1828. He was first educated at the school of Jonkoping, and afterwards at the gymnasium of Wexio. In 1848 he became a student in the University of Lund, where he graduated as M.A. A manuscript, a fragment of a novel, happened to fall into the hands of the editor of Goteborg s Handels-ach Sjofartsiidnifig, who then engaged Rydberg to write for his paper, and he filled this post for many years. His contributions comprised a great number of different subjects: political articles, reviews, essays on literary, historical, religious and philosophical topics, accounts of travels, etc. (Typographical errors above are due to OCR software and don't occur in the book.)
