A Brief History From the Founding of the City is a new (2007) translation of the Breviarium Ab Urbe Condita, a short Roman history written by Eutropius around the year 370 A.D. It covers more than 1100 years of Roman history in less than a hundred pages, beginning with the birth of Romulus and ending early in the reign of the emperor Valens, late in the empire.
