A collection of studies by Achille Adriani discussing the facts, ideas and problems of the tomb of Alexander. Four main essays look at the transportation of the body to Alexandria and Alexander's tomb at Memphis, the nature of the written sources on the subject, the myths and theories surrounding the tomb and the form and location of it, with comparisons being made with other Macedonian royal tombs. A series of well written essays (in Italian) with a number of excellent illustrations.
