A study of the 4000 coins found at Olynthus which were deposited in the Numismatic Museum at Athens in 1930. It includes a corpus of bronze and silver coins minted in Chalcidice between the 5th and early 4th centuries BC. The catalogue is followed by a discussion of the evidence and the circulation of money at Olynthus, set within its historical context.
