Termessos was a Pisidian city built at an altitude of more than 1000 meters in the Taurus Mountains.

Termessos is now part of of Gulluk Dagi National Park located within the province of Antalya in a valley hidden between mountains.

The most significant remains of the ancient fortified city are the city walls, Towers, King's Road, Hadrian's Gate, Gymnasium, Agora, Theatre, Odeon, Richly, Decorated Tombs, cisterns and drainage system
